From the app
Open the app and go to the “Profile” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to the very bottom of the page: below all the settings cards, just above the version number (“Espir v1.0.0”), you will find a discreet clickable text labelled “Delete my account” — it is not a framed button.
Tapping it does not delete anything right away. A confirmation window opens, titled “Delete your account?”. It reads: “This will permanently delete your account and all your data.”, followed by “This action cannot be undone.” Two buttons are offered: “Delete” and “Cancel”.
“Delete” confirms and deletes your account along with all associated data. “Cancel” closes the window and nothing is deleted.
The deletion covers your account and all associated data. It is permanent and cannot be undone.
Without the app
Write to contact@espir.io from the email address linked to your account, with the subject Account deletion. We handle the request within thirty days at the latest. If your account is not linked to any email address, say so: we will tell you how to proceed.
What is deleted
Your authentication account, your first name, your email address if you gave one, all of your meals with their personal notes, your preferences and your statistics.
What is not deleted
Your subscription, which must be cancelled separately from your store settings. The billing data held by Apple and Google, which they keep under their own accounting obligations.
Timing
Deletion in our database is immediate. Our host's technical backups may keep a residual trace for a short period before being overwritten automatically.
